Legends and Heroes Tour to Honor MX and SX Legend Chad Pederson at the Minneapolis Supercross

Minneapolis, MN - April 12, 2018 - The Legend and Heroes Tour traveling moto museum is pleased to announce that they will honor former motocross and supercross competitor Chad Pederson this Saturday night at round fourteen of the Monster Energy Supercross series at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, MN.


The Tour stands behind the belief that “We Don’t Leave History Behind” and has kept the founding fathers, and mothers, pure in their thoughts by honoring the men and women that shaped supercross and motocross into what it is today. Each honoree receives a special commemorative plaque during a special podium presentation on the stadium floor before opening ceremonies.





About Chad Pederson:

Originally from Fort Dodge, Iowa, Chad Pederson was one of the top mini bike racers in the country in the mid-80’s. He scored podium finishes at Loretta Lynn’s in 1986 and 1987 and was a double class champion in 1988 winning both the 250 B Stock, and 250 B Modified classes. He turned pro in 1989 and was quickly considered a top contender.


Pederson would score 67 top 10 finishes during his professional motocross and supercross career with eight podiums and a win in the 125 SX East class in 1993 at the Tampa Supercross. During his career, he rode for a wide variety of satellite racing teams including; Noleen Yamaha, DGY, Pro Circuit Kawasaki, Atomic 22, Primal Impulse Suzuki, Neilson Kawasaki, and Moto XXX.


Following his motocross and supercross career, Pederson would go on to have success racing Arenacross and Canadian Nationals.


Today he lives in Minnesota with his family.
