Lisa Akin-Wagner was a driving force in women’s motocross during the 1980s. In
1971, she began riding and drag racing at age 7, and in 1972, she began riding motocross. It was years before Lisa won a trophy in motocross. Her father said, “I was awful at motocross but got good with starts.”

Lisa married her husband, Bobby Wagner, a very fast Team Green rider in 1985. My biggest accomplishment besides these finishes is having a
great racing family, with 2 boys that raced and having RedBud as my family.
