Indianapolis, IN, March 15, 2019 - The Legend and Heroes Tour Traveling Moto Museum is pleased to announce that they will again take part in the pit party activation in the Fan Fest activation at the Monster Energy Supercross on Saturday in Indianapolis, IN. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the tour and their mission of celebrating the Legends and Heroes of the sport. In addition to their display of vintage machines and memorabilia, the tour will honor motocross promoters Tim and Amy Ritchie during the evenings opening ceremonies.

About Tim and Amy - Can I get a Reeeed Buuuuud? The iconic chant heard each summer at the famous motocross facility in Buchanan, MI. Started in 1972 by Gene Ritchie, the entire facility is one of the most well-liked amongst the motocross community. Running the track was always a family affair, with Gene joined by his son Tim and daughter Amy the track grew from humble beginnings to one of the premier tracks in the world.

In addition to the annual AMA Motocross National event held each July, in 2018 the Ritchie’s hosted the worlds best with the Motocross of Nations and although the weather didn’t cooperate it was widely recognized as a huge success with the largest Motocross of Nations attendance recorded. But Red Bud is not just the national and Motocross of Nations. The Ritchie’s host a Quad National, Loretta Lynn’s Qualifier and much more each year at the track.

Motocross is a passion for this family and following in their dad’s footsteps are Tim and Amy Ritchie. Please join us on Saturday night as we honor them.
