Legends and Heroes Tour to Honor Fox Racing Founder Geoff Fox at Oakland Supercross

Oakland, CA, January 24, 2019 - The Legend and Heroes Tour Traveling Moto Museum is pleased to announce that they will again take part in the pit party activation at Monster Energy Supercross on Saturday in Oakland CA. This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the tour and their mission of celebrating the Legends and Heroes of the sport. In addition to their display of vintage machines and memorabilia, the tour will honor Moto-x Fox founder and AMA Motorcycle Museum Hall of Famer Geoff Fox during the evenings opening ceremonies.

About Geoff Fox - Geoff founded Moto-X Fox in 1974 as a distributor of motorcycles accessories for the booming new sport of motocross. In the mid-’70s, alongside his brother Bob, Geoff developed and sold Fox branded suspension. To showcase their technology, they started the privately owned professional racing team Team Moto-X Fox in 1977. Well before today’s team look, the Team Moto-X Fox wore matching, handmade gear. The gear was such a hit that a clothing brand was born. The rest they say is history as Fox went on to be the largest apparel brand in motocross. Over the years Legends and Heroes like Mark Barnett, Ricky Johnson, James Stewart, and Ricky Carmichael have won championships wearing Fox. Even today’s legends like Chad Reed and Ken Roczen wear the famous Fox Head logo. Geoff was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Museum Hall of Fame in 2009. Please join us on Saturday night as we honor a fantastic addition to the Legends and Heroes list of honorees.
