Where history takes the lead. The Legend and Heroes Tour Traveling Moto Museum is pleased to announce that it will recognize Bobby Pickard for his accomplishments and achievements in the sport of motocross. In a presentation before opening ceremonies at the seventh round of the 2023 Monster Energy Supercross Series in Arlington, TX, on February 25, 2023, Pickard will be honored by the tour. He joins an elite group of men and women that made the sport of supercross what it is today.
About Bobby
Widely known throughout the Lone Star state as one of the top riders in the 70s, Bobby was known as the King of Mosier for his success at the famous track. He turned pro at 14 and, during his career, won the Texas State Championship, was a dual class 250 & 500 State Champion, and was a multi-time A and AA State Enduro Champion.
He’s earned a living in the industry he loves as a sales rep for 44 years, including the last 34 as a rep for Drag Specialties, the V-Twin division of LeMans, and sister company to Parts Unlimited.
