Ricky Carmichael to be honored at the
Lucas Oil Motocross Pro National
High Point
Outdoor National
The
Legends
and Heroes
Tour
will be honoring Motocross champion Ricky Carmichael at the Lucas
Oil
AMA Pro
Motocross Championship race at High Point Raceway
this weekend. Carmichael is
a 10 time
national
Motocross champion and 6 time Supercross champion,
and is known as the “Greatest Of All Time, or as the “GOAT”
. In addition to Carmichael's
many titles and championship wins, he has the distinction of having
recorded the
first ever perfect season
during the 2002 250cc National Championship, a feat
he repeated in 2004. He also holds the all-time record for AMA
championships and wins.
Come
and see
RC at Fan Fest on Friday
afternoon
and visit the Legends & Heroes Tour display at
High Point.
About the Tour
The Legends & Heroes Tour is a national display of
historical MX history that includes the machines and the champs of
Motocross. The tour will be present at all 12 Lucas Oil
AMA Pro
Motocross
championship events. The project was conceived by a dedicated group
of Motocross enthusiasts who, over the years, have discovered the
value of the rich 40+ years of Motocross legacy and its’ impact on
the American motor sports history.
