	RC Takes Rd 1 of the FMF 2-Stroke Invitational Red Bud ~ 07-04-09

One of the highlights of Saturday’s event at Red Bud was the FMF Two-Stroke Invitational – please pass along my gratitude to Mr. Emler and whoever else at FMF who was responsible for putting that together! It was great hearing the throaty “braaap” coming from the finely jetted 2-stroke engines…especially on Carmichael’s RM250 as he ran it through its paces. Stanton looked pretty fast out there on his works Honda as well…I’m sure Emig would have mixed it up in the top 3 but had clutch problems and wasn’t able to start the race. It was a very welcome addition to an already great day of racing!

About the Tour
The legends & Heroes Tour is a national display of historical MX history that includes the machines and the champs of Motocross. The tour will be present at all 12 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross championship events.
